The driver of a Toyota Corolla will face charges after a vehicle collision on American Road shortly after 6 Wednesday evening.

Police say a woman who was a passenger in the Corolla was hospitalized.

The car was being driven by a male from south to north on the busy thoroughfare. The Corolla veered into tye path of a Toyota Harrier driven by a female in the opposite direction.

The impact caused the Harrier to flip with the female motorist causing extensive damage to the vehicle, which landed on its roof.

The female motorist visibly shaken by the accident was helped out of the Harrier, and fortunately sustained only minor injuries.

The female passenger of the Corolla complained of pains about her neck, hand and feet.
