A woman from Cashew Hill recently reported to the police that an intruder entered her home around 2:15 am two nights ago.
Fortunately, she was unharmed. She woke up to a noise coming from her washroom and noticed the shadow of a male intruder in her bedroom.
She quickly covered her head with a sheet and screamed, prompting the intruder to flee through a kitchen door to the east.
The intruder gained entry by removing four panes of glass louvers from a kitchen window on the western side of the house.
Once inside, the intruder stole a black Samsung A14 cell phone of unknown value and $30.00 ECC in cash from a small table in a southern bedroom.
The intruder was described as wearing all dark clothing and standing about 5 ft. 5 inches tall.
Despite a search in the area, authorities were unable to locate anyone matching the intruder’s description.
That must have been one hell of a scream
