Achazia James to be buried today

Achazia James, 15-year-old student from Princess Margaret School, who tragically lost her life in a brutal incident in August, will be laid to rest today Monday.

Her funeral service will be a time for family, friends, and classmates to come together to honor her memory.

In a gesture of respect, Princess Margaret School will close on that day, allowing both staff and students the opportunity to pay their final respects.

The school shared a heartfelt message on its Facebook page, encouraging the PMS community to support one another during this challenging time and to keep Achazia’s family and loved ones in their thoughts and prayers.

Achazia’s body was found by two beachgoers at Runway Beach, showing signs of multiple injuries on Sunday, August 18. She was last seen after 3 a.m. that same morning.

The investigation into her murder is ongoing, with authorities still working to make an arrest.
