Rawdon Turner Attends Inaugural Cabinet Meeting as Newest MP
Rawdon Turner, now a Member of Parliament, attended his inaugural Cabinet meeting as a full member on Wednesday
As he entered the meeting room, his colleagues enthusiastically applauded him and stood to warmly welcome him to their ranks.
Earlier that day, the Cabinet participated in Turner’s swearing-in ceremony, demonstrating their strong support for his role as the Minister of Social and Urban Transformation.
Following the ceremony, the Cabinet reconvened in the conference room at the Prime Minister’s Office to discuss the new minister’s expectations.
Key responsibilities assigned to him include cleaning and organizing commercial areas in St. John’s, regulating street vending and public spaces, and revitalizing the management of the St. John’s Development Cooperation.
