PROBE CONTINUES INTO DISCOVERY OF A DECOMPOSED BODY

The police are continuing investigations into the discovery of a decomposed body of a man at Swetes.

It was reported that around 5pm on Monday, a resident of Swetes discovered the motionless body of a male lying on the ground near a man’s residence and reported it to the All-Saints Police Station.

​The police visited the scene and found the deceased fully clothed on the ground among grass. Officers from the Serious Crimes Unit and Forensics Unit also visited the scene and carried out investigations.

The body was pronounced dead at 8:29 pm. The police are not ruling out foul play until a full investigation is completed.

Meantime, police are asking anyone with information surrounding this incident to contact the All Saints Police Station at 460-1000, or the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913.
