Two men pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a firearm, ammunition, and cannabis

Two men pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a firearm, ammunition, and cannabis in St. John’s Magistrate’s Court on July 10.

 

Twenty-five-year-old Emerson Alexander from Villa pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a .380 pistol and six rounds of ammunition. He was remanded to His Majesty’s Prison until July 23rd for sentencing.

Also, Keiron Philip, 43, from Ottos Newtown, pleaded guilty to unlawfully possessing 50 grams of cannabis. He was fined $1,000, payable within 14 days, or face 90 days in prison.

The court has also mandated the cannabis to be destroyed.
