APUA has begun service disconnections today

According to a Social Media post by the Antigua Public Utilities Authority, disconnections from APUA services have begun for those who have bills that are overdue.

“If your bills are overdue, your name is already on the list”, says APUA.

The Utilities Authority is following up with a warning given on the 10th of July, indicating that if your Electricity, Water, or Telecoms (inet Mobile, Home, or Business) account is over 30 days overdue, your service is at risk of disconnection.

“Settle your balance today to avoid any inconvenience”, stated APUA’s social media post.

APUA has recently been strongly promoting the prioritizing of utility bills by customers; a principle that has seen support from residents and government officials alike.

  1. Well, it’s gonna be some funky smelling people playing mass this carnival season since their costumes and troupe fees been paid and took priority over everything else in luding thatwater bill. I guess smoke signals and drums as modes of communication coming back in style too. PAY YOUR DAGGONE BILLS AND STOP FETTING!!!

  2. I agree. People seem to think that Apua is like the company’s in Qatar where oil is flowing. Apua have staff to pay and I am sure other expenses. Black people love service and never love to pay their bills. Typical melamin skinned humans
