Police are investigating a shooting incident that rattled the Creekside community on Wednesday night, leaving a vehicle riddled with bullets but no reported injuries.

The incident unfolded around 10:20 p.m. near the Nyabinghi Theocracy Church Farm. A resident alerted authorities after hearing a series of gunshots in the area.

According to police, a 25-year-old man from Bolans was sitting in his car with his girlfriend when a gold-colored SUV drove past, heading north. The driver of the vehicle allegedly opened fire on them.

Investigators later confirmed the attack, noting that the victim’s car had been struck twice, once in the right rear window and again in the right front door. Miraculously, both occupants escaped unhurt.

The motive for the shooting remains unknown, and police have yet to identify any suspects. Officers are urging the public to provide information, especially regarding sightings of a gold SUV in the Creekside area at the time of the incident.

  2. Did the young man have someone woman in his vehicle? Or did the young credit marijuana from someone and didn’t pay? Why would anyone open gun fired at a parked vehicle with two young people sitting inside—male and female?? Young people especially need to find a better way to solve their disputes without the use of deadly weapons like guns, knives and cutlass. There are more to life than shooting up people. Always remember that there are consequences to the choices we make.

  3. wonder if this was targeted or just random. Either way, people need to be more cautious at night.

  4. As long as people have guns these things will happen. Rid the streets of guns and you have peace. But for every gun that is removed from the streets, another one comes.

  5. It’s one thing for certain! You can’t get rid of the guns off the streets! But attacking people is never the good idea. I mean, why do we always run to violence. Having someone killed doesn’t give you a plus in life
