Police are investigating a break-in at the Adele School for Special Children, where thieves stole a quantity of cleaning supplies and beverages.
According to reports, Principal Andera Richards Tonge contacted the Criminal Investigations Department after discovering the incident, which occurred sometime between 2:55 p.m. on September 9 and 6:50 a.m. on September 10 at the school’s Ivor Heath Drive location.
Investigators said the perpetrator or perpetrators used a prying tool to force open a southern wooden door, gaining access to the nurse’s office, which was ransacked. The intruder then entered the kitchen area, where several cleaning products and non-alcoholic drinks were stolen.
The exact quantity and value of the stolen items have not yet been determined. Police confirmed that entry and exit were made through the same door.
Several persons in the area were interviewed, but no useful information has yet been obtained. Officers from the Forensic Evidence and Recovery Unit were informed, along with senior investigators.
The investigation is ongoing.

Really? A school for special needs children?! For that matter – a school? What have we come to?
No I give up. Somebody really stealing from Adel school? sighhh
Everything I reason about these nreaj in I shudder. Why would you even break into a school? Farless one for children with needs? You must be a person who have no love…no pride..no heart
Use the cleaning supplies to clean up your dirty heart. Stop stealing. Your hands will be cut off
This is not the first time. It has happened on numerous occasions, always around the time when the school receives supplies. It’s someone in the vicinity of the school doing these break-ins. They see when supplies and donations are brought in then go into action.
You will die a miserable death and your children will suffer
Fire go burn you. Fire go destroy you. Wicked people who dont want work to do will die young . We will watch your death announcement on ABS so end your ways now
How low can people go to target a school for special children?
This is truly sad. These cleaning products are supplied to the school by parents who in most cases can I’ll afford these items.
Poor parents, on threat of their child/ ward being refused entry to the classroom sacrifice to buy products that they most likely never buy for their own homes only to have some low life reprobate deprive the children of the use.
Truly sad, but God doesn’t sleep.
