Police are investigating two separate incidents involving minors — one concerning the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl and another involving a pregnant 16-year-old seeking medical attention.
In the first case, the victim was reportedly assaulted by a known male in St. Johnston’s Village. A doctor examined her, and forensic evidence was collected for further analysis.
In the second case, officers were called to the Browne’s Avenue Clinic after staff reported a pregnant teenager seeking treatment in the company of an adult male.
The patient was transported to the hospital, but later left before receiving medical care.
Authorities say investigations into both matters are ongoing.

Are we going to hear the 16yr old is at the age of constant at the end of the investigations , just asking for a friend ?????
What else do you expect? It’s almost as if you forget the system….
Did the staff find out who the adult male was?? That’s one concern right there! I know Antiguans LOVE to assume so wanted to know
She might very well have been.,(over the age of consent). The matter should not end there however. Was the pregnancy the result of child abuse and endangerment? How was she able to “disappear” from the hospital after being presented there. There is much more in the mortar….
Authorities need to ensure proper counseling and support not just investigation or these things will never stop happening
Fire burn any man who take advantage of people children
How did the 16-year-old manage to leave the hospital without care? Where was the supervision?
Anyone who was with these minors has serious questions to answer. This cannot be normalised.
Sound the alarm. I’m happy to see that the nurses and calling out these incidents
I am convinced that many of our young girls are being sexually abused and not saying a word.
This is deeply disturbing. Children deserve safety above everything else. I hope the investigation is handled thoroughly and with urgency so the victims can get the protection and support they need.
The system is failing these girls if they cannot feel safe even when seeking help.
