Avery Henry has been appointed as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Antigua Barbuda Airport Authority.

The decision was made by the government and the Board of the ABAA on Monday, following the resignation of Euletta Francis.

Francis resigned unexpectedly, blaming Prime Minister Gaston Browne for her decision

After examining her resignation and considering her ability to continue serving as the CEO of ABAA and to deliver services at the required standard, the government and the Board accepted her resignation.

Meanwhile, the government and the Board have decided to appoint Mr. Rolston Polly Potter as Executive Chairman of  the ABAA, effective immediately.

It is worth noting that in 2020, Henry was honored with The Most Illustrious Order of Merit for his distinguished and outstanding contribution in the field of Safety and Security during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
