According to reports, a thief targeted the Seventh-Day Adventist School, making off with 40 chickens from the pen located on the school’s premises.
The theft is believed to have occurred between Sunday evening and Monday morning.
Upon discovery, a teacher is said to have reported the incident to the police, guiding them to the chicken pen situated on the school’s compound, where a total of 90 chickens were originally housed.
But nearly half of the flock was reportedly found to be missing.
Further reports state that the thief utilized an object to forcibly break a section of the mesh wire surrounding the chicken pen, gaining unauthorized access to the coop.
In a separate but similar incident, three goats were reported stolen in Bendals.
