On Sunday, December 3rd, 2023, the much-anticipated Tourism Week kicked off with a grand church service at the Holy Family Cathedral.

The event was graced by industry leaders, Ministry of Tourism staff, and key partners, who came together to celebrate the diverse and vibrant tourism offerings of Antigua and Barbuda.

The week-long celebration aims to promote the tourism industry’s sustainability through an empowered labor force.

This year’s theme, “Our Tourism Industry, carving a path to Sustainability through an empowered labour force,” underscores the importance of investing in the workforce to ensure the industry’s long-term growth and success.

Tourism Week 2023 promises to be an exciting and engaging event, featuring a range of activities and events.

These include a college tour, Jr Chef Cook Off, Tourism Wellness Day, Tourism Blast off, Tourism Labour Conference, a Staff Fun Day, and an Awards Gala.
