Police have detained a suspect in connection with a daring crime spree that took place just after high noon on Wednesday.

The suspect, who was driving a rented Toyota Belta and brandishing a black handgun, carried out an act of larceny and two robberies.

The crime spree began with the suspect targeting a supermarket located in Potters, where he allegedly stole a cellular phone from the car of a supervisor.

After that, he drove to the Ace Enterprises service station at around 12:45 pm, where he reportedly robbed a pump attendant of a sum of $300.

Just two minutes later, he arrived at Dee’s Service Station and robbed a pump attendant there of just over $900.

This incident was captured on surveillance footage, which the authorities are currently reviewing.

Following the robberies, the suspect abandoned the rented car in bushes some distance away.

However, the police were able to seize the vehicle and detain a man they believe was behind the daring crimes.

The investigation is ongoing, and further details will be released as they become available.
