Wet weather and thunderstorms ahead
Antigua & Barbuda residents should prepare for heavy rainfall as an estimated 2 inches (55mm) of precipitation is forecasted from tonight until Wednesday.
In addition, there is a 30% chance of thunderstorms on Monday, increasing to 50% on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Antigua & Barbuda Meteorological Services has attributed these weather patterns to the presence of instability and available moisture, leading to periods of cloudiness and moisture due to a moving trough system from West to East across the islands.
