The University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus is to host an Open House event on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.

The event will feature opportunities in a wide range of disciplines, from business and education to healthcare and technology.

It will be held at the UWI FIC Gymnasium from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM and will spotlight the university’s degree programmes and professional development short courses. Attendees can also explore scholarships and other financing opportunities.

Prospective students will learn about entry requirements, career advancement pathways, and tuition financing options.

The event, according to the organisers, promises direct interaction with faculty members and current students, providing valuable networking opportunities for attendees. Prospective students will also be able to complete applications on-site.

“This Open House is designed to help individuals discover opportunities to advance their education and career prospects,” says Ms Adeola Matthew, the Students Recruitment and Retention Manager at UWI Five Islands.

She extends a special invitation to parents to come and get first-hand information about enrolling their children in the September 2025 academic year.

The UWI Five Islands campus was established to provide access to world-class education, and the public is invited to visit and find out how they can upskill themselves.
