On Tuesday, the magistrate’s court began preliminary hearings for Wayne Charles of Browne’s Avenue, who is facing an attempted murder charge. The charge stems from an incident involving Kadeem Spencer of Liberta that occurred on July 3 in New Village, Liberta.

In addition to the attempted murder charge, Charles is also accused of maliciously damaging an iPhone 13 belonging to Spencer, with the estimated cost of the damage reaching $1,000.00 (US).

The court has adjourned the case until October 1, 2025, during which time Charles will remain incarcerated at His Majesty’s Prison.
