Police are investigating a violent home invasion on Kentish Road that left a 90-year-old woman and her caretaker injured.
According to reports, the incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025, when two masked men armed with a gun and a knife accosted the women as they entered their home. The suspects reportedly demanded money and struck both victims in the face before forcing them to lie on the floor.
The intruders then ransacked the house, making off with two cell phones and an undisclosed amount of coins.
Emergency responders were called to the scene and transported the victims to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre for treatment. Police say the injuries were not life-threatening.
A search of the surrounding area was conducted, but the suspects were not found. The matter remains under active investigation.
