Youth On The Move Inc
The first Youth On the Move Inc job fair has been described as a resounding success.
Over 100 unemployed individuals – the majority youths – turned out for the event held at the Villa Community Centre on Saturday.
President of the St. John’s City West Youth Group and member of Youth’s On the Move Kaleb Gardner says the initiative was “a way to enhance the employability status of young persons from the community of Point and Villa and the wider country.”
The event also featured a component of resume writing.
A Director of the group Senator Shenella Govia told state media that this will become an annual initiative.
The Antigua Barbuda Airport Authority, Port Authority, State Insurance Company Ltd, Emergency Medical Services and the Job Experience Program were some of the entities present at the event.
